The 4 maintenance discounts
- Token, up to 20% : you keep a stock of maintenance days in advance as GOMINING tokens (GMT) in your GoMining wallet.
- Service, up to 3% : one click on “Service” every day, +0.3% per day in a row, 3% on day 10. Free.
- VIP, up to 6% : depending on your GoMining VIP status.
- Mining mode, up to about 1.3% : if you don't play Miner Wars; the amount depends on community votes.
They add up: up to about 30% less maintenance in total.
The token discount: how much to lock?
GoMining's rule: to get p% off, you must hold 18 + 18 × p days of maintenance in GMT. 1% needs 36 days, 10% needs 198 days, 20% needs 378 days.
Example with a farm of 100 TH at 15 W/TH (maintenance ≈ $82 per month), GMT at $0.378 :
